Following the success of 2022's Summer Workshop, we will be running another week-long workshop in July 2023. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is the subject for this year, where upcoming performers will engage in activities to develop singing, acting and dancing skills, which can be showcased in an unique opportunity to appear in our professional production of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Playhouse Whitley Bay.

 

The total fee for the week-long workshops from 9:30am - 3:30pm will be £160 to cover the costs of tuition, rehearsal, costume hire etc. This payment must be pre-paid before attending the first workshop date, including a non-refundable deposit of £30 required.

No previous experience is required and all successful applicants will receive tuition from our (DBS Checked) teaching staff.

WORKSHOP DATES AND PERFORMANCES

• Workshops will be held during the summer School Holiday for a fun-filled week: Monday 24th July - Friday 28th July  (full attendance required)​  at St John's Church Hall, Birtley from 9:30AM-3:30PM daily.

• Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be staged at Playhouse Whitley Bay during the summer school holidays, from Wednesday 2nd - Sunday 6th August 2023. Each child, who wishes to perform will be allocated a team: Red, Yellow, Green or Blue, and will have the opportunity to appear in TWO performances. Please select your performance preferences upon pre-registration.

• Technical/Dress rehearsals will be held at on the day of the first performance for each team.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Please check any holiday dates against workshop and show dates prior to registration.

• Participants must be aged between 5-15 and within compulsory education by the performance date.

• Please do not bring valuables to the audition or workshops. We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage.

• We will require each child to ​provide their own black pumps/jazz shoes.
