We are always on the look-out for professional drama coaches, dance coaches and voice coaches for our numerous projects planned throughout the year.

We are also accepting submissions from performers (with strong musical theatre skills), directors and choreographers for 2019's productions.

Drama Teacher/Coach

We are currently in the process of appointing staff for our new academy launching later in 2019. The academy will educate and nurture talent from ages 5-18 with a termly performance to showcase. As part of our valued team, we are seeking a teacher/coach specialising in DRAMA.

Applicant must demonstrate flexibility, determination, energy and dedication.

Job Requirements/Responsibilities

  • Applicants must have relevant theatre background and/or teaching certification

  • A drama teacher educates his or her students in different acting styles, methods, and techniques.

  • Teaching drama means training pupils in how to communicate, control and project their voices, and present themselves.

  • The responsibilities of a drama educator will include creating lesson plans.

  • Organising and managing the learning environment.

  • Directing performance rehearsals

  • Good communication skills to liaise with management towards the same objective

  • Make adaptations to teaching programme as required

  • Provide tailored feedback to student, parent, principal as appropriate

Dance Teacher/Coach

Applicant  must be capable of teaching students in a variety of methods, from demonstration to verbal direction. demonstrate flexibility, determination, energy and dedication.

Voice Teacher/Coach

We are currently in the process of appointing staff for our new academy launching later in 2019. The academy will educate and nurture talent from ages 5-18 with a termly performance to showcase. As part of our valued team, we are seeking a Voice Teacher/Vocal Coach.

Applicant is responsible for assisting artists to develop their vocal skills for the purposes of improving vocal performances on recordings and live shows. Tasked with introducing young singers to the art at a very early stage, working with children and teenagers to develop performance skills, lung capacity and in some cases, performance art (“stage presence”). 

Job Requirements/Responsibilities

  • Applicants must have relevant experienced background and/or teaching certification

  • Possess a thorough understanding of musical notation, key, harmony, scales, melody, etc.

  • Be sympathetic to the student’s current standard of ability

  • Be an excellent motivator to enhance the desire for improvement

  • Have knowledge of performance art, dance and accompanying skills where appropriate

  • Be able to make alterations to the teaching plan as requested

  • Be professional at all times, and be realistic in terms of achievable aims

  • Devise and deliver a teaching programme related to the musical genre as per the student’s request

  • Make adaptations to teaching programme as required

  • Provide tailored feedback to student, parent, principal as appropriate
