During our The Little Mermaid workshops, performers will engage in classes and activities to develop their singing, acting and dancing skills. Work will then be showcased in an incredibly unique opportunity - appearing in our professional production of The Little Mermaid! 

The total fee for the week-long workshops from 10:00am - 3:30pm will be £175 (including a free The Little Mermaid souvenir t-shirt) to cover the costs of tuition, rehearsal, costume hire etc. This payment must be pre-paid before attending the first workshop date, including a non-refundable deposit of £30 required.

No previous experience is required and all successful applicants will receive tuition from our (DBS Checked) teaching staff.

WORKSHOP DATES AND PERFORMANCES

• Workshops will be held during the summer School Holiday for a fun-filled week: Monday 29th July 2024 - Friday 2nd August  (full attendance required)​  at Studio 39, Royal Quays, North Shields, NE29 6DW from 10:00AM-3:30PM daily.

• The Little Mermaid will be staged at Playhouse Whitley Bay during the summer school holidays, on Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th August. Each child, who wishes to perform will be allocated a team: Flippers or Fins and will have the opportunity to appear in TWO performances. 

• An on-stage rehearsal will be held at on the day of the first performance for each team.

GENERAL INFORMATION

• Please check any holiday dates against workshop and show dates prior to registration.

• Participants must be aged between 5-15 and within compulsory education by the performance date.

• Please do not bring valuables to the audition, workshop or performance. We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage.

• We will require each child to ​provide their own black pumps/jazz shoes.
